About The City Wine Show

After a first show sold out in September 2017, we are proud to announce that The City Wine Show 2018 will be back at Stationers Hall on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April.


City Wine ShowLooking for the finest Pinot Noirs on the market? Want to discover exciting new wine trends? Or simply want to understand the difference between Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc?


The City Wine Show will give you the opportunity to chat with producers from around the world.


A Discovery Zone manned by our team of wine experts will guide you through hundreds of award-winning wines from the drinks business’ Global Masters competitions.


A range of exciting free Masterclasses will be available to discover some of wine’s best kept secrets.


A limited number of Prestige Masterclasses will also be available to show you the finest wines on the market.


The City Wine Show will take place on Friday 13th April from 1pm to 9pm and from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday 14th.


All of our Masterclasses are free to attend but subject to availability. It is not possible to reserve masterclasses in advance. Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis on the day. Ensure you arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

The Masterclasses schedule, including Champagne Pol Roger, will be available a few weeks before the show.
Friday 22nd September
  • 4:00pm – Pinot Noir: Around the world in 6 wines
    Presented by Patrick Schmitt MW An introduction to one of the wine world’s most celebrated, sought-after and yet frustrating grapes.

  • 5:15pm – Giusti Prosecco
    Presented by Riki Hutchinson Why the UK fell in love with Prosecco and what amazing sparkling wines await us to be discovered from Italy.

  • 6:30pm – Pol Roger
    Presented by James Simpson MW Join Champagne Pol roger for a tasting of six wines from Sir Winston Churchill’s favourite house, including three vintages.

  • 7:45pm – Casa Silva
    Pioneering Cool Climates and uncovering Carmenere in the Colchagua Valley, Chile - Five Generations of the Silva Family Adventure.

Saturday 23rd September
  • 2:00pm – Casa Silva
    Pioneering Cool Climates and uncovering Carmenere in the Colchagua Valley, Chile - Five Generations of the Silva Family Adventure.

  • 3:30pm – Piper Heidsieck
    Presented by Simon Stockton A tutored tasting and journey into the history and style of this iconic Grand Marque Champagne House.

  • 5:00pm – iDealwine: “Tour de France” of wines
    Presented by Arthur de Lencquesaing and Patrick Schmitt MW Discover the diversity of French wines with a classic selection from iDealwine’s online auctions and fixed-price sales.
